Consultant checking oral Bible stories, a case study
Abstract
Oral Bible Stories (OBS) are re-tellings of biblical stories. This paper explores the consultant checking of a small language’s OT stories, examining the boundaries of what changes are permissible. When are omissions not acceptable? When are additions unwarranted? The paper examines several gray-area situations.
