His current focus is on consulting for translation projects in Papua, Indonesia (in partnership with the mission of the Netherlands Reformed Congregations and with the GJRP church in Indonesia). Abstract
Vernacular Bible translation arguably contributes to spiritual transformation and human flourishing. This paper explores the concepts of human flourishing and spiritual transformation, discusses models for measuring these variables in relation to vernacular Bible translation, and provides data from a remote community in Papua, Indonesia.
