Narrative Strategies in Ruth: Developing Holistic Understanding for Translation
Abstract
This paper proposes an embodied approach to internalization using integrated processes of holistic exegesis, semantic priming, and internalization/performance techniques. Applying this to the book of Ruth, it demonstrates how the narrative strategies can be uncovered and used to produce a more natural, faithful translation.
