These Terms govern your use of the Bible Translation Conference (BTC) Abstract Submission Portal at abstracts.btconference.org (the “Portal”). By signing in you agree to them.
Who may use the Portal
The Portal is for people submitting abstracts to, reviewing for, or helping organize the Bible Translation Conference. You need a Google account to sign in and are responsible for activity under your account.
Your submissions
- You keep ownership of your abstracts, papers, slides, and recordings.
- You grant BTC a non-exclusive licence to review, reproduce, and publish them in connection with the conference, such as the program, proceedings, website, and conference recordings.
- You confirm that the content is your own or you have permission to submit it, that it does not infringe others’ rights, and that all listed co-authors have agreed to be listed.
- Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Decisions of the program committee are final.
Reviewers
Reviewers must keep submissions and review assignments confidential, evaluate fairly, and disclose any conflict of interest to the committee. Do not copy, share, or use submitted work for any other purpose.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access data you are not authorized to see, interfere with the Portal’s operation, upload malicious or unlawful content, or use the Portal for anything other than conference business.
Suspension
We may suspend or remove access or content that violates these Terms or disrupts the conference.
Disclaimer and liability
The Portal is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, BTC and its organizers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Portal. Please keep your own copy of everything you submit.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: info@btconference.org
