Macro Analysis of Hebrew Poetic and Prophetic Discourse

Dallas International University is hosting a Hebrew Discourse Conference on October 18, 8:00am - 5:00 pm. Co-sponsored by SIL International and Fontes Press, this one-day conference will feature a plenary speaker (Benjamin J. Noonan), roundtable discussion, and up to 20 selected papers in 3 parallel sessions. The research question focuses on whether macro analysis of Old Testament poetic and prophetic books is possible, given the largely anthological nature of many of the texts. Accepted presentations can be viewed here. A light breakfast and full lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. Virtual attendance via Zoom is available. A discounted price is available to students.
