Location
The in-person conference will be held at the Empress Hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Visas
Bible Translation Conference 2025 attendees are responsible for checking with their own passport country's Thai Embassy/Consulate to make sure they have the appropriate paperwork for entering Thailand. The BT Conference Facilitation Team are willing to assist with providing invitational letters to the event as needed. The actual Visa is granted by the Thai Embassy/Consulate in countries who are not already exempt.
If you requested a letter of invitation during registration, you should receive it by 25th August 2025. If you need a letter of invitation and have not already informed us, please email info@btconference.org .
The countries on the visa exempt list will be granted entry at the discretion of the Immigration agent at the time of arrival without a visa. No letter of invitation is necessary for these countries.

Thai Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
All foreign visitors to Thailand are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online prior to entry.
The official website where you need to apply for your TDAC is found here, and it is free of charge: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
For the first application, please use the "Arrival" button on the left. Should anything change in your itinerary, you can use the button on the right to make changes: "Update Arrival Card".
This application needs to be made within the 3 days prior to the anticipated day of arrival in Thailand.
You will receive details of your TDAC and your TDAC number via mail, and will need to either print it out before traveling or be prepared to show it on your mobile device when entering Thailand.
Lodging
The hotel package at the Empress Hotel includes a stay from Monday, October 27 - Saturday, November 1.
All breakfasts and lunches are included in this cost.
Dinner is not included, but there are many affordable dining options nearby.
Deluxe - Single - $440 USD
Deluxe - Shared - $250 USD per person
Superior - Single - $350 USD
Superior - Shared - $205 USD per person
If you wish to stay at the Empress, you must book your accommodation by 5th September at the latest.
Meal Options
For those staying at the Empress, breakfast and lunch are included.
For those NOT staying at the Empress, a meal package can be purchased for lunch only, Tuesday - Friday. Cost: $40USD for four (4) buffet lunches.
Evening meals will not be provided at Empress, but there are many affordable, nearby dining options.
