All the Paradigm We Need

Teryl Gonzalez - Wycliffe USA

As we conclude our week together, let us gather at the source of the River of Life to refresh our souls and refocus on our unity. Let us recognize Christ in our God-with-us stories, feeling the comfort that flows like water in the kingdom of God.

Research into global trends related to how work will happen in the coming decade indicates that we are entering an era rich with the promise of collaborative interdependence and fearless, innovative problem-solving. The future of work looks more creative, more humane, more digital, more flexible, balanced, and authentic. Mentoring and training will become increasingly central and available as the “crown of splendor” generation remains productively engaged in work longer than ever. Whatever corner of the world we call home, whether young or old, male or female, there is room to bring our unique paradigms while sharing a united perspective.

Each of us is invited to bring our whole selves to participate fully in the grand story of God’s love for the world as given in the Word. We can do this, fearless and refreshed, because, in the kingdom of God, comfort flows. His blood dripping from the altar-throne is the source of the river of life. The powerless All-Powerful is all the paradigm we need, and he is the author of all the paradigms that we will need.
