Andy Warren-Rothlin works at the United Bible Societies as a Translation Consultant, Bible Translation Roadmap Coordinator, UBS TAZI Advisor and Associate Editor of The Bible Translator, and is on the Board of Directors of SIL International. He previously worked for the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation, the Bible Society of Nigeria and the Theological College of Northern Nigeria, and now assists translation programmes in Chad, Pakistan etc. His PhD was in Hebrew grammar in the Psalms, and he has published also on linguistic pragmatics, Arabic script use and Muslim-idiom translation.

Dr. Tshokolo Makutoane is a senior lecturer and academic head of department in the Department of Hebrew at the University of the Free State (Bloemfontein, South Africa), where he teaches Hebrew and Bible translation. His 2011 PhD thesis was entitled “Re‐animating orality: The design for a new translation of the Bible in Sesotho.” His research is in the area of orality and performance in African Bible translations, with on-going projects to train Sesotho ministers and congregations in oral performance of biblical passages for scripture engagement. He is also heads a language typology project to produce pedagogical materials for teaching Biblical Hebrew to African students without making western languages and grammatical concepts a point of departure. He is a member of the Revision Committee of the 1989 Sesotho Bible Translation for the Bible Society of South Africa.
Dr. Tshokolo Makutoane
REV. EDGAR BATTAD EBOJO, PhD (University of Birmingham, UK), is one of the Global Translation Advisers of the United Bible Societies (UBS). Aside from translation projects in Asia-Pacific, he is currently the UBS member to the Editorial Committee of the UBS Greek New Testament 6th edition (UBS6) and the Nestle-Aland Novum Testamentum Graece 29th edition (NA29). He also serves as a committee member of the International Greek New Testament Project (IGNTP), the scholarly body tasked to prepare and produce the Editio Critica Maior (ECM) of the New Testament Greek. He is an ordained minister of the Bethel Pentecostal Church and served as a pastor for Filipino churches in the Philippines, Singapore, and England. He is married to former Ms. Irene Murillo and has a gorgeous son, Dayao Nathan-El M. Ebojo.

Dr. Paul Kimbi
Paul K. Kimbi (PhD) was born in the North West of Cameroon. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree (in Philosophy) at the University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon), Paul served as a translator for the Kom New Testament. Upon completion of the translation of the Kom New Testament, Paul went for further studies and obtained an M.A in Translation Studies from Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology, now Africa International University (in Kenya) and later a PhD in New Testament Studies from South Africa Theological Seminary. Paul served as Translation Consultant for Cameroon Association for Bible Translation (CABTAL) for many years. He is currently the Translation Coordinator for Wycliffe Africa Area and a member of Wycliffe Global Alliance Leadership Team where he serves as Consultant for Bible Translation Programs. He is author of two books and has published several articles. He is married and has one daughter and they live in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Inspirational Address
Angie and her husband Peter are members of Wycliffe Malaysia based in Papua, Indonesia. Their journey to Indonesia began in 2004, where they worked with a people group in the central highlands of Papua. In 2011, Angie became a translation consultant, and subsequently took on the responsibility as SIL Asia BT Coordination team facilitator in 2016. She has been involved in the training and development of translation consultants in SIL Asia’s Translation Consultant Development Workshop (TCDW) programme since 2013. Angie has an MA in Biblical Studies and is currently serving on the Journal of Translation editorial board. For almost four decades, Angie and Peter have enjoyed serving together in the music and worship ministry. Highlights include leading the times of worship for ICON 2008, 2012 and 2016. Angie’s love for the Word of God, worship music, and writing resulted in the publishing of a devotional book, “Lyrical Contemplations from the End of the Earth” in 2019. Angie and Peter have three children who are busy living the “adulting” life in different parts of the world.
