MAT is a tool designed to enable deeper conversations with communities about their needs for Bible Translation, taking into account the type of multilingualism that exists in their communities, and what that means for the likely use of Scripture, and in what languages and formats. You can find out more at https://sites.google.com/sil.org/mat/home.
The morning session (09:30-12:00) will be a general introduction to the tool, and then after lunch (13:00-16:00) we will have time to explore how it can be implemented in your context. You may come to either session or both, but the afternoon session will only make sense if you already have some understanding of the tool.
Location: Payap University (transport available)
Depart Empress hotel 0900, session starts at 0930.
Please contact maik_gibson@sil.org to register your interest, and ask any questions you may have. There is no charge for the workshop. Lunch and transport will be provided.
